Prof. Dr. Reha Şükrü Kişnişci is a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery with nearly 40 years of academic and clinical work. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry (1979–1984), completed specialization and doctorate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 1987, became associate professor in 1991 and professor in 1997, and held academic and clinical roles at Ankara University from 1987 to 2021. Since 2021 he has been a professor at Lokman Hekim University and continues to see patients at the Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center.
His practice focuses on maxillofacial surgery, jaw deformities, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. His scientific record includes more than 50 publications, over 700 Scopus citations, and a Scopus h-index of 16; he remains active in research as of 2026.
