Privatklinik Confraternität & Goldenes Kreuz is a Mavie Med private hospital that since spring 2026 unites two of Vienna's oldest private clinics at Lazarettgasse 16–18 in the 9th district. Goldenes Kreuz was founded in 1913 and runs Austria's largest private maternity unit, with more than 74,000 births since 1921; Confraternität brings over 250 years of tradition in surgery and internal medicine. The expanded site has new operating theatres, a recovery room, and a day clinic. Main areas are obstetrics and women's health with a breast health centre, orthopedics and joint surgery, general surgery, internal medicine, and cardiology. A joint new building on Skodagasse is planned for 2028.
